- Bromhexine hydrochloride:
- Pharmacological effects:
- By inhibiting the mucus-producing cells of tracheal and bronchial mucosa, it reduces the synthesis of acidic mucopolysaccharide proteins in sputum and breaks up the mucin fibers, thins sputum and promotes sputum discharge.
- Indications:
- It is mainly used for respiratory diseases mainly characterized by mucus blockage of the respiratory tract, such as chicken respiratory diseases, swine respiratory tract infections.
- Menthol:
- Action: it has a cooling effect on the cough, relieves inflammation of the respiratory tract and soothes breathing.
