- This product is an oily solution containing fine particles.
- COMPOSITION
- Each ml contains 200 mg of procaine penicillin.
- Indications
- It is mainly used for the treatment of chronic infections caused by penicillin-sensitive strains of bacteria, such as uterine pus accumulation, mastitis, fractures in cattle, and infections caused by actinomycosis and leptospirosis.
- Usage and dosage
- Intramuscular injection, one-time dose.
Horses, cattle: 0.05 - 0.1 ml per kg body weight.
Sheep, pig, foal, calf: 0.1 - 0.15 ml per kg body weight.
Dogs, cats: 0.15 - 0.2 ml per kg body weight.
Once a day for 2-3 days.
- Side effects
- 1. Mainly allergic reactions, which may occur in most domestic animals, but the incidence is low. Local reactions at the injection site are characterized by edema and pain, and systemic reactions are urticaria and rash, which can lead to shock or death in severe cases.
