- Each ml contains:Tylosin (as tartrate) 200 mg.
- Appearance
- colorless or yellowish transparent liquid.
- Indications
- Infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to tylosin, e.g., respiratory infections in cattle, sheep and swine, Duchenne dysentery in swine, dysentery and arthritis caused by Mycoplasma, mastitis and endometritis.
- Usage and dosage
- Intramuscular or subcutaneous injection.
- Cattle: 0.5 - 1 ml per 10 kg body weight per day for 3 - 5 days.
Calves, sheep, goats: 1.5 - 2 ml per 50 kg bw per day for 3 - 5 days.
Pigs: 0.5 - 0.75 ml per 10 kg body weight every 12 hours for 3 days.
Dogs, cats: 0.5 - 2 ml per 10 kg bw per day for 3 - 5 days.
- Side effects
- The most common adverse reaction is local irritation at the injection site.
